Korea has known with their beautiful countrysides. one of them is Jeonju where there are various type of foods. Jeonju is a village in the city of Jeonju, South Korea, and overlaps with the Pungnam-dong and Gyo-dong neighborhoods. The village contains over 800 Korean traditional houses called “Hanok”. Jeonju Hanok Village was built in the 1930 when Japanese merchants took over the major commercial areas in the city. The hanok village is built around a shrine dedicated to Joseon’s royal family, because the people were determined to protect their heritage. Jeonju Hanok Village is an old cultural place in the middle of the city. So, people can see the past in the other side while the other side is about how fast the technology run with their daily life. The village is famous among Koreans and tourists because of its traditional buildings that strongly contrast with the modern city around the village. Right now, Jeonju is held an event called Jeonju International Film Festival (JIFF), which held every once a year, on May 2nd – 11th, 2019. JIFF is now recognized as one of the most important film festivals in Asian and global barometer of current film movement. In Jeonju,there is one type of alcohol that famous recently and it’s delicious from Jeolla-da. It is Makgeolli which there are a lot of different type of Makgeolli (which is a type Korean alcohol made by rice and sometimes called Rice wine) when Korean drink Makgeolli the owner will give a various types of Banchan (which means side dishes), because the Makgeolli will determined the Banchan are.
